I was having issues with roaming cellular service while using T-Mobile in Japan. From what I can tell, Tmo no longer can roam on Docomo. If cell service is set to automatic, my iPhone constantly drops celI service. I had to manually set Network Selection to SoftBank to get stable cellular connection.
